Roshan GIDP Graduate Studies Handbook

This handbook contains descriptions of admission to the Roshan Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP) and the Roshan GIDP degree requirements for the MA and PhD programs, and the PhD minor in Persian and Iranian Studies, including required coursework, examination policies, and dissertation requirements. The handbook offers further information on various aspects of graduate studies at the University of Arizona as well as financial and non-financial resources.

It is the responsibility of students to familiarize themselves with the general campus-wide requirements and information on the transfer of graduate credit from other institutions, off-campus graduate study, scholastic standards, forms that the student must submit to the Graduate College, and the time limit for the completion of requirements for graduate degrees.

Students are required to comply with all the policies listed in the handbook by consulting the Graduate Studies Handbook frequently, particularly prior to important milestones. Questions should be directed to the Roshan GIDP chair, the program coordinator, or one’s advisor.
