At UM Dearborn Dr. Wellman served as Associate Director of the Center for Arab American Studies.  She also developed new courses, one on Islamophobia and another on the Anthropology of Food.  From 2014-2017, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Iran and Persian Gulf Studies, Princeton University.
